Falcon goes Global

4. June 2018 Vertikal Net

UK rental company Global Platforms has taken delivery of a 33 metre Falcon FS330Z spider lift.

The FS330Z features a dual sigma riser, telescopic boom and articulated jib, offering almost 19 metres of outreach at an up and over height of 10 metres. The first job for the new machine arrived by chance. A truck mounted platform had been rented in to carry out work on a telephone mast around 100 metres from Global’s depot. The team had intended to set the truck mount up in the car park but it was unable to gain access.

The Global team was able to help out, as the new spider lift was both compact enough and able to cross soft ground to be able to gain access to set up on the other side of the mast and carry out the work. The company happily obliged and the job was safely completed.
